The “definitions” are not “blurred. Only your understanding of them.
Our current administration is guilty of just that. Calling themselves “progressives” instead of socialists, because it sounds better.
Maybe that is the reason for your confusion.
Our beltway republicans seem to get confused what is moderate and what is conservative too.

Balance balance balance, stop thinking that unfettered capitalism is the answer, remember this was already tried and failed miserably. The corporations own America right now and they are the reason for most of this mess. A little accountability cant be all that bad. Stop beleiving the scare mongers, it is working fine in manty democratic nations. Yes nations that are as democratic as the USA, so if they don’t like it they can also vote it out.
Healthcare reform = Jail American reform.
Our right/freedom to spend our money vs Jail time. You are required to pay health insurance and Govt. salaries. You probably visit a doctor 2 times a year but your monthly check are required and appreciated. Don’t mess with Uncle Obama!!!! College and high school students, we know you live from paycheck to paycheck, so get a second job. Pay our salaries and shut up!!

Is Obama a socialist? I say no, some say yes. Some do say that don’t they? Some say that human blood is made of melted down candy canes. Who are they? One of my main criticisms of your show, Bill, as well as much of FNC, is the wanton misuse/abuse of the “some say.” The “some” could be anybody. Could be me. Who knows? Tell us who says what, not simply that there are some in existence that say Obama is a socialist.
This is one of the few times that Bill oreilly makes sense
I am convinced that Bill O’Reilly doesn’t believe what he says in 8/10 of his shows. Because in multiple interviews outside of the O’Reilly Factor and in episodes like this Bill O”Reilly uses a very different method of discussion, puts much more effort on definitions and more in depth information.
Wish he was like this more often.

O’Reilly doesn’t care. He only cares about the market share of his show. He isn’t concerned with developing his own political awareness. Which sucks in a way but is good that is one of maybe 3 reporters who are objective.
Obama is no socialist. Obama is a stalin like communist who knows he can get the nation there in one step.

Newt: “they want to tell us what light bulb to use”. Come on, it’s clear we use too much energy in this country and that we don’t want to keep relying on foreign oil. A simple way to reduce how much we rely on foreign oil is to require certain old technologies to move over for new technologies that use less energy. Using better, more efficient light bulbs means less energy use. It’s funny that conservatives tend to want the right to waste the most as if waste is the purest form of freedom.
According to Karl Marx, socialism is the abolition of wage labor, commodity production, and private ownership of the means of production, in other words capitalism. In socialism, goods are produced for people’s needs (which can’t be accomplished within a market) and the means of production is collectively owned and democratically controlled.
Has anything that Obama’s done or plans to do sound like that?
Anybody that listen to Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich needs help. Extrem right wing nuts!
