I’m not a gun owner so I dont care, I care about the constitution. You should pay more attention the the adminstration in general and not just Obama.. Ram Emanuel his Chief of Staff is practically hinting this… I’m not making anything up, I’m just looking at what’s happening right infront of everyone’s eyes. But please dont let me distract you from your lord and savior Obama, continue drinking the Obama coolaid and hope the high lasts enough for you to not feel the vaccine coming your way.

  2. tgear77 says:

Please show me one quote or one piece of evidence that Obama or Emmanuel or anyone else connected to the President has hinted that they are going to take guns away. Of course you probably quote a conspiracy website that also provides you with the flu vaccine means Obama will take over the nation. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

I got to tell you dude, I’m deeply entertained by this but I dont want to become a “Youtube Scholar” as some call other smartasses.. But I’ll admit my Emmanuel point was wrong he was refering to the youth brigade.. Check out HR 1388/1444 and compare it to the 13th Amendment and tell me if they contradict each other.. As for the 2nd Amendment his voting record is a good place to start. I’m actually no longer a republican or democrat so I’m not going to get sucked into a partisan style debate.

  4. tgear77 says:

Don’t worry, I would not call you a scholar. They usually have their facts right. The 13th Amendment abolished slavery and indentured servitude. HR 1388 helps increase volunteerism. Yes, I will tell you that they do not contradict each other. This is not a partisan style debate; this is you supplying unsupported invective and conspiracy theories while I supply the truth.

  5. somedude890 says:

Helps increase volunteerism? Thats a joke. Let me tell you when volunteerism is mandatory then its not volunteerism.. A civilian army as Obama has stated multiple times during his campaign, then Ram says “Everyone between the ages of 18 to 25 will have to serve 3 months of basic training.” on CSPAN.. But let me guess that falls under the catagory of volunteerism in your mind. 13th Amendment officially abolished and continues to prohibit slavery and involuntary servitude, so how is this not fact?

  6. tgear77 says:

The 13th Amendment also explains what both terms mean. I have no problem with this. I served my country and I feel far more comfortable with my children doing something like this instead of joining the military. As we have seen repeatedly since Bush sent us into two wars, we are stretched too thin to cover things here at home. This could be the answer. And if it teaches responsibility and allows for college credit or college funding, then that is even better.

  7. somedude890 says:

So how is it possible that you disagree with me that the “mandatory” part of it is bad?… I’m fine with volunteerism, I think its a great thing in any community but they’ve incorporated a military aspect to it too.. Feels like a fancy way to bring back the draft.. If you truely feel patriotic then volunteerism is a choice you make, not the government making it for you.

  8. tgear77 says:

To begin, this is not even on the books yet. It isn’t even in Committee. So how about we wait until there is actually a proposal put forth before westart calling it slavery? If the bill calls for my kids to even have a chance at fighting in a war, I will rally against it as hard as anyone. But if it is along the lines of the National Guard, assisting in repair and recovery situations, disaster aid, etc. or even a larger capacity involving Americorp, etc. I don’t see the harm in it. Especially…

  9. tgear77 says:

(cont) if there is a reward aspect to it. I find it hard to believe that you think patriotism is only through volunteerism. Weren’t all of the men drafted to serve in the military and fight in our wars patriots? Is a kid who was drafted and fought in Viet Nam less or more patriotic than Cheney who avoided it like the plague, but has no trouble sending soldiers to die in Iraq?

  10. somedude890 says:

No, my idea of patriotism is your will to defend the constitution and the rights the founding fathers gave this country.. I think the entire Bush administation should be charged with crimes against hummanity under the Geneva Conventions, but I got to tell you dude this administation is persuing the same policies, if Obama had any intention of upholding his promise he would have withdrawn the troops like he said he would and not to another country (Afghanistan) but home.

  11. tgear77 says:

I agree that the troops in Iraq can not get out of there fast enough (but an immediate withdrawal would not have been realistic). As for Afghanistan, I still want us to get bin Laden. I want his corpse dragged through the streets of Kabul and shown to the world that this is what we do to people who kill our innocent civilians. Then I want medics to bring him back to life so we can kill him again. But that’s just me.The sad part is that back in ’02 and early ’03, we had Afghanistan won. We had…

  12. tgear77 says:

(cont) knocked out the Taliban and had al Qaeda on the run. Had we done things right, instead of going into an unnecessary war in Iraq, we could have everything settled by now. Have al Qaeda crushed, bin Laden dead or captured, a thriving democracy in Afghanistan that would be an ally for decades, support in Pakistan and the Taliban a distant memory. But Bush had to put his daddy issues first and play Wartime President. What an ass.

  13. somedude890 says:

Looks like you and I are going to have to agree to disagree my friend.. Hopefully there will come a day when all is revealed and people can all get along but unlikely.. Good chatting (arguing) with you.. Peace out!

  14. tgear77 says:

Ican live with that. Thanks for actually engaging in thoughtful debate instead of resorting to name-calling, which seems to be the norm here on Youtube. Good luck!

  15. somedude890 says:

For real, why is it hard to stay civilized?.. lol We can argue our points and finish without calling each other every dirty name in the book.. Thank you too. Peace!

  16. tgear77 says:

I know. I almost feel like I have to call you some stupid epithet or they’ll kick me off Youtube for not playing by the rules.

Well, a lot of what’s discussed here is EXACTLY what Dr. Kent Hovind said a long time ago.
